Approval of ITU-T Recommendations
By AAP-24, it was announced that the following ITU-T Recommendations were approved, in accordance with the procedures outlined in Recommendation ITU-T A.8:
- ITU-T G.808.2 (10/2013)
- ITU-T G.8275/Y.1369 (10/2013)
Maritime Identification Digits (MID) and Coast Station Identification Numbers
In accordance with Nos. 19.34 , 19.92 and 19.94 of the Radio Regulations:
– the maritime identification digit (MID) "638"; and
– the coast station identification numbers 3970 – 3979
have been allocated to the Republic of South Sudan.

On the occasion of the 160th anniversary of the birth of Mihajlo Pupin, the Republic of Serbia authorizes a number of Serbian amateur radio stations to use the special call sign YT0PUPIN from 1 January to 31 December 2014.
